Tips

Konsole anzeigen:

i've found a good solution for the problem. Please start this before quake iv.

and add this to autoexec.cfg

Now you can open the console with the key on the left of the "1".
I don't know if this is the same, but I do :

Tricks

Crouchslides

strafen, dann springen, dann kurz vor der landung "ducken" drücken und halten, (strafetasten können gehalten werden) - je nach speed und je nach dem ob man eine rampe runterslidet oder auf der ebene, rutscht man entsprechend weit. man merkt den slide daran, dass kein "crouch-bob" effekt auftritt und man eben ein rutschgeräusch hört.

der slide ist auch rampen hoch anzuwenden, kann vor allem hilfreich sein, um strafe-jumps zu verzögern, ohne an geschwindigkeit zu verlieren.

in dem kurzen video zeigt einer, wie man auf "over the edge" per circle-to-slide-to-jump (ololol) zur yellow armor kommt ohne dabei die boxen nutzen zu müssen.

Strafejumps

laufen, springen, vorwärts + seitwärts, springen, vorwärts plus seitwärts. (wichtig: vorwärts und seitwärts während des ganzen strafens halten - oder aber zwischen a und d hin und her wechseln.)
